About Our Owner Ray

Ray began his career in heavy industrial construction in 1989. He has worked in plastics plants, steel mills, and sewage treatment facilities. Ray was a project manager for a locally owned construction company from 1994-2002 before starting his own company. His business started with small projects, repairs, and maintenance. K and K Quality Construction continues to grow as a thriving commercial and residential contracting company.

Preston Kemp

Preston has been following his father, Ray, along on jobs since he was 14 years old. He has worked part-time at K and K Quality Construction throughout his time as a student at The University of Alabama. Preston received a Bachelor of Science in Finance (financial planning) in May 2015. Upon completing his undergraduate degree, he joined K and K Quality Construction full time as a field superintendent.
